Ours at work have
some very interesting hand dryers.
Interesting in that
they do not dry hands, instead they blow a very moderate amount of barely warm
air that has no effect whatsoever on a pair of wet hands.
The choice therefore
is fourfold:
1. Fly in the face of
generally accepted hygiene policy, and the exhortations all over the lavatory,
and don't wash your hands.
2. Wipe them on your
trousers.
3. Use a vast amount
of lavatory paper to dry them.
4. Go to the canteen
and use their paper towels to dry them.
Option one is not
quite the ticket. Option two is not quite the ticket. This leaves options three
and four, being, the ticket.
However, neither of
them is very green.
So in fact, our green lavatory is not at all green, is
it?
